Overview
Annie Ziesing is a data privacy associate in the New York office and holds IAPP Information Privacy Professional Certifications for the United States (CIPP/US) and Europe (CIPP/E). Her practice focuses on navigating comprehensive data privacy laws implicating clients in the United States and the European Economic Area, but she also assists with a range of international privacy and data transfer issues outside of these jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Annie served as a clerk for Chief Judge Martin Glenn of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, where she drafted opinions, reconciled motions, and managed hearings for large-scale restructuring cases which encompassed a range of cryptocurrency, data privacy, and financial issues.
Before clerking, Annie spent three years as a litigation associate at a global law firm, where she represented clients in financial services, banking, securities, trademark, and contract disputes.
