Overview

Michael Bonner advises businesses and individuals on a range of labor and employment matters and represents them in related disputes. He helps clients comply with state and federal laws and regulations, with a focus on devising forward-thinking solutions to complex business and employment issues.

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips Michael practiced at a Fort Lauderdale-based firm, where he represented clients in state and federal courts at all stages of litigation and appeals involving labor and employment matters, contracts, commercial disputes, and real estate issues.

Michael has experience serving as second chair in multiple trials, including a three-day bench trial concerning a breach of a non-compete agreement. Michael has also successfully argued summary judgment motions and has obtained summary judgment in favor of employers against claims of discrimination and retaliation. In addition, Michael has experience reviewing and preparing employment contracts, corporate governance documents, non-compete and settlement agreements.
