Overview

Max Bungert represents employers in state and federal court litigation, internal investigations, arbitration, and mediation involving workplace-related matters. Max’s experience includes defending clients against claims brought pursuant to Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, and the Illinois Whistleblower Act.

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Max was an associate at an AmLaw 100 law firm where he focused on employment, education, and commercial matters, as well as construction and real estate litigation.

During law school, Max was a member of the trial team and an articles editor for the Journal of Law, Technology & Policy.
