Overview

Matthew Guerrero advises employers in all aspects of workplace law, including collective bargaining negotiations and grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and employment discrimination claims. Matthew also reviews and drafts employee handbooks and policy statements as well as provides training to both employees and management over a variety of labor and employment topics. Additionally, he has experience representing employers before administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Matthew was an associate at a labor and employment-focused law firm in Chicago where he focused on labor management relations and private and public sector employment litigation. Matt’s experience includes working as Senior Counsel for the Chicago Park District and Assistant Labor Relations Council for the State of Illinois.
