Overview
Amy Kullik advises and defends businesses of all sizes in public and private sector labor and employment law issues, with a focus on proactively mitigating risk and finding solutions that work given her clients’ competitive position and business needs.
As a first chair trial attorney, Amy regularly defends employers in administrative proceedings and in state and federal courts in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, violations of non-competition agreements, and wage and hour disputes, including collective and class actions. She has successfully defended more than 100 EEOC/OCRC charges.
A significant part of her practice involves helping employers to proactively minimize potential liability and protect confidential information. To this end, Amy drafts employment contracts, policies, and handbooks; addresses issues involving employee discipline, accommodations, and leaves; and develops training and compliance programs on topics including interviewing and hiring, performance management, discrimination and harassment, and workplace health and safety.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Amy chaired the Litigation Group and the Labor & Employment Practice Group at a full-service business law firm based in Cleveland.
