Overview
Jasmine Kiaei defends and counsels employers in state and federal court in a wide range of workplace matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, wage and hour violations, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions, and violations of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and California Family Rights Act and/or Pregnancy Disability Leave Act.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Jasmine was a member of an AV rated full-service law firm where she focused on employment law and wage and hour class actions. Jasmine also advised on administrative matters such as employee handbook preparation and updates, enforcement of policies and procedures, anti-harassment training, workplace investigations, and workforce reduction/layoffs.
Jasmine’s clients have included healthcare facilities, private security companies, food service companies, aluminum distributors, and construction companies.
Jasmine is admitted to practice in all California State courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
Jasmine received her Juris Doctor in 2019 from Southwestern Law School where she was a part of the SCALE Accelerated Two-Year program. Jasmine received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2017.
