Overview

Matt Sharon is an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office. Matt’s practice is focused on representing employers and individuals before state and federal courts relating to covenants not to compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure provisions, employee raiding, trade secrets, the duty of loyalty, the Computer Fraud & Abuse Act (CFAA), and state computer protection statutes. Matt also defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations brought under various federal and state laws.

Matt graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law where he was the Managing Editor for the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review. While in law school, Matt served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kimberly K. Anderson, DeKalb County State Court.

Matt also has international work experience, having spent time in the office of a Member of Parliament (MP) in the United Kingdom House of Commons. During his time in Parliament, Matt worked on issues such as Brexit and the 2019 General Election.
