Kate Dedenbach is Co-Chair of the Financial Services Industry Group and a seasoned data privacy attorney with fifteen years of experience advising businesses on compliance with data privacy laws and regulations globally, including GLBA, GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, PIPEDA, CCPA, HIPPA, COPPA, CAN-SPAM, state data breach laws and state insurance breach regulations. A CIPP/US-certified professional, Kate identifies and mitigates privacy and data security risks in the workplace and advises on complex legal concepts and their applicability to business partners and senior leaders. Additionally, her experience includes drafting and implementing privacy policies and procedures and conducting privacy incident investigations.

Kate is a former Global Chief Privacy Officer for a financial services company where she focused on working with business partners in information security, product development, technology, human resources, and marketing to facilitate business growth compliant with data privacy requirements globally.
