Fisher Phillips, an international labor and employment law firm with over 800 lawyers, and the Stewart Law Group, a prominent Dallas-Fort Worth-based litigation boutique, have combined practices under the Fisher Phillips name. As of July 20, 2026, the firm, led by Amy M. Stewart, has joined forces with Fisher Phillips to increase the breadth and depth of what the firm’s growing Texas-based team can do for clients across the nation.
Stewart Law Group is the largest minority and woman-owned civil litigation firm based in Texas, known for partnering with clients to resolve labor and employment litigation matters through settlement, trial, or arbitration. The firm’s service areas closely align with Fisher Phillips’ practices and industry teams, including, litigation and trials, workplace investigations, labor relations, and sports. Given her client base and experience, Amy Stewart will assume the role of Vice Chair of Fisher Phillips’ Sports Industry Team alongside longtime leaders Adam Sloustcher and Todd Scherwin.
“The synergies between our two firms make this a true combination of strengths for clients in Texas and across the nation,” said John Polson, Chairman and Managing Partner of Fisher Phillips. “The capabilities they bring will strengthen our core practice areas, expand our industry-focused teams, and play an important role in our strategic growth in a key geographic market.”
“Amy and her team have been embedded in the Dallas-Fort Worth business community for decades, and joining forces with them is not just about growing our headcount; it is about expanding our reach and capabilities in the local market and beyond,” said Adam Sloustcher, Regional Managing Partner of Fisher Phillips’ Dallas office. “Amy has nurtured such a talented group of practitioners, and, as a former professional soccer player, I like to say that she is one of those select players that everyone wants on their team. She’s a tremendous leader with the talent to match, and those qualities are always part of a winning squad. We are thrilled to welcome her and the team to our expanding Texas bench.”
Amy M. Stewart, founding partner of the Stewart Law Group, added: “Fisher Phillips’ powerful international platform opens a world of opportunities for us while still allowing us to continue delivering the customized and responsive service our clients have come to expect from our group. The alignment between our firms’ cultures, our shared commitment to serving as strategic business partners to our clients, and the opportunities for our attorneys to grow their practices made this the right call for our next chapter. I am very impressed with how Fisher Phillips has leaned in on the ethical use of AI to provide efficient and exceptional service to its clients. We will continue to deliver wins for our clients as we become fully integrated with Fisher Phillips and all it has to offer.”
In total, a group of 4 attorneys will be joining Fisher Phillips, which includes founder and partner Amy M. Stewart, partner Andrea Cook, and attorneys Conrad W. John and Blaine E. Adams.

She also serves on the Board of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and holds leadership roles in the International Association of Defense Counsel.
