Jaime brings more than 15 years of experience advising domestic and multinational companies on the full spectrum of Mexican labor and employment law matters, and he is joined by his colleagues Alonso de la Vallina Subero, Diana Vazquez Campos, Arturo Hidalgo Velasco, Mariana Hernandez Ayala, Alan Antonio Olivares Rivera, Jorge Luis Perez Cruz, Ernesto Ramirez Rivera, Juan Pablo Trinidad Gutierrez, and Lino Parrales Martinez.
The additions of Jaime and his 9-attorney team make Fisher Phillips one of the largest labor & employment firms in Mexico by headcount.

Germán’s leadership has been the driving force behind the firm’s growth in Mexico. Under his direction, Fisher Phillips Mexico has built a practice devoted exclusively to labor and employment law from the employer’s perspective and has expanded its team and its coverage throughout the country.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Jaime spent several years leading Labor and Employment law practices at international AmLaw 100 firms, and most recently, he led the Labor and Employment practice at a full-service firm where he worked closely with its transactional teams on labor contingencies and risk mitigation in M&A and asset-acquisition contexts. As part of his practice, Jaime advises clients on individual and collective litigation, collective bargaining, profit sharing, employer substitution, and workforce transfers in mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs. He also counsels clients on expatriate hiring, labor inspections, compliance with Mexican labor regulations, and the design of human resources policies, and workplace policies on sexual harassment, non-discrimination, and whistleblowing.
With this addition, Fisher Phillips Mexico consolidates its counsel and leadership in the automotive, telecommunications, food, entertainment, and pharmaceutical industries, where it represents some of the leading companies in those sectors, as well as companies in other industries.
Fisher Phillips launched its first international offices in Mexico in the Summer of 2023 with 30 attorneys in an anchor location in Mexico City and satellite offices in Guadalajara and the state of Queretaro. Since that time – and with the addition of Jaime and his team – Fisher Phillips’ team in Mexico has grown to 37 strong in response to the surging demand for labor and employment counsel across the country.
