ATLANTA (December 10, 2020) – Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is proud to announce that three lawyers were named to BTI Consulting Group’s list of 2020 Client Service All-Stars. Brian Finucane, Todd Logsdon and J. Hagood Tighe received top honors from corporate counsel for their steadfast commitment to providing excellent client service.

According to the BTI report, the “All-Star” designation honors attorneys who “demonstrate an unrelenting pursuit to find what best fulfills clients’ needs. Legal decision makers say these attorneys have an unquenchable thirst to understand their clients better than all other attorneys.” Of the 181 firms represented on this year’s list, Fisher Phillips is one of 59 firms with three or more attorneys recognized as a BTI Client Service All-Star.

Finucane is a partner in the Kansas City office where he counsels employers across the nation on a broad range of employment law matters. He is former Chairperson of the Missouri Bar Labor Law Committee and a three time selection as Lawyer of the Year in Kansas City by Best Lawyers in America in the fields of labor and employment law. His multi-faceted practice ranges from defending clients in complex class action litigation to providing day to day client advice to solve employment law issues. Finucane also represents clients in traditional labor law matters, including negotiating contracts, handling National Labor Relations Board matters, union contract arbitration and union avoidance efforts.

Logsdon is a partner in the Louisville office and serves as co-chair of Fisher Phillips’ Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Practice Group. He is regarded among his clients and colleagues as a leader on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issues throughout the nation and across various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, construction and utilities. Logsdon has extensive experience contesting and litigating OSHA citations, representing employers during OSHA inspections, conducting OSHA compliance audits, defending whistleblower/retaliation claims as well as providing OSHA compliance advice. In addition to his workplace safety practice, Logsdon advises employers in workplace disputes including discrimination, Family and Medical Leave Act, wage and hour issues and provides regular trainings for clients on day-to-date compliance issues and litigation avoidance.

Tighe is co-chair of Fisher Phillips’ Wage and Hour practice. In recent years, he has handled over 40 class and collective actions throughout the country, many of which involve wage and hour issues. Tighe also has extensive experience defending single plaintiff lawsuits alleging wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. While he maintains an active litigation practice, Tighe also focuses on providing practical and proactive advice designed to minimize the risk of litigation. He enjoys working with companies to help them avoid problems before they arise. This takes many forms including advising on handbooks, policies, employment agreements, investigations, layoffs and terminations.
