
Overview
Madeleine Nadeau represents employers in matters involving the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the Labor Code, The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII discrimination, retaliation, and harassment, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), wrongful termination, and wage and hour laws. Madeleine also provides day-to-day advice, reviews and drafts employment agreements and handbooks, and conducts compliance audits. Additionally, her experience includes litigating class actions and PAGA matters.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Madeleine was an associate for a multi-practice law firm where she focused on employment law, personal injury, construction law, intellectual property law, and public contracting.
During law school, Madeleine worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jill L. Burkhardt of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. She also served as an intern for the Office of the City Attorney of San Diego, Civil Division where she garnered experience in key areas of risk management and trial preparation.
