Overview

Elissa Noujaim Pinto draws on two decades of experience and a global perspective to advise local, national, and international companies and organizations in all aspects of business immigration law, including workplace compliance issues and strategic planning on cross-border hires, transfers, and foreign national talent retention. She represents employers across various industries, in particular automotive suppliers in the Metro Detroit area.

She has extensive experience with nonimmigrant and immigrant matters, including H-1B professionals, L-1 Intracompany Transferees, E-2, TN, PERM Labor Certifications, Multinational Managers and Executives, Outstanding Researchers and Extraordinary Ability Aliens, among many other areas. Elissa routinely guides clients in managing their foreign national employees through the complex U.S. business immigration process, preparing intricate petitions and applications for filing with U.S. government entities including the Department of State (DOS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the Department of Labor (DOL).

She frequently collaborates with clients on best practices for managing international workforces and to train HR professionals and corporate management on immigration processes, including those relating to data integrity, quality, privacy, and record retention.
