Amelie Hopkins

Amelie Hopkins is an associate in Fisher Phillips’ Portland, Maine office who represents businesses, schools and universities in a variety of employment-related matters, including responding to and defending against allegations of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. She also collaborates with clients to ensure their policies and procedures comply with applicable employment laws.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Amelie practiced in the Boston office of a global law firm, where she advised and defended clients in complex litigation and government enforcement actions and investigations. This included representing companies and officers in employment disputes involving non-disclosure agreements, restrictive covenants, wrongful termination, and executive compensation. Her experience includes managing various stages of litigation, from discovery and motion practice through expert witness coordination and settlement negotiations.
