Fisher Phillips, an international labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that Sarah Moore has rejoined the firm as Of Counsel in the Cleveland, Ohio office.
Sarah spent over 6 years of her legal career at Fisher Phillips before leaving for a brief stint at a regional law firm where she represented public and private entities in labor and employment matters, including bargaining and negotiations, and issues of benefits and pay, discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenants, as well as constitutional and contract-based claims. Sarah now returns to Fisher Phillips where she will continue counseling management in both union and non-union settings and will litigate labor, employment, and business claims before administrative agencies and state and federal courts.
A large part of Sarah’s practice will focus on labor relations, but she will also counsel companies on all employment-related matters involving everything from discrimination and retaliation to accommodations and harassment policies. She will also advise public and private schools on a broad range of personnel and school operation issues, including technology and social media, facilities, transportation, pupil regulation and discipline. Sarah also brings deep experience to the firm’s Crisis Communications and Strategy Practice Group.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sarah back to Fisher Phillips,” said Rich Millisor, Regional Managing Partner of the firm’s Cleveland office. “She returns with her valuable perspective on handling everything from high-stakes labor relations matters to complex employment disputes, education law, counseling and crisis management. Sarah is a dynamic lawyer and it is a joy to welcome her home to the Cleveland office where she will further strengthen our bench here in Ohio and across the country.”
Sarah taught labor law, employment law, collective bargaining, and human resources management courses to graduate and undergraduate students at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and Cleveland State University’s Nance College of Business Administration. She has also served as an instructor of special education law for Cleveland State University’s College of Science School Psychology Program.
She earned her law degree from Cleveland State University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Canisius College. Sarah is a thought leader and frequent lecturer on labor and employment law-related topics and was a 2016 recipient of a Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing.
