In an interview with McKnight's Senior Living, Michael Carrouth breaks down the current regulations around joint employment and how the NLRB’s proposed changes will impact long-term care providers. He explains that employers need to be aware of how they use or pay employees hired through a third party or staffing agency. “The bottom line,” he says, “is that the expanded joint-employer test will give labor organizations more options to consider in their efforts to increase organizing and add more members.”
