Firm Welcomes Jacqueline Del Villar to the Houston Office

HOUSTON (January 11, 2021) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that Jacqueline Del Villar has joined the firm as an associate in the Houston office.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Jacqueline was a litigator at an AmLaw 200 firm where she conducted investigations involving employment discrimination and responded to charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Texas Workforce Commission. At Fisher Phillips she will continue her work in employment discrimination matters and will also advise clients on compliance with a variety of other federal and state employment laws and agency regulations including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Jacqueline will also counsel clients on contractual drafting regarding non-solicitation, non-compete, and various other aspects of employment agreements.
Jacqueline earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center where she served as Casenotes & Comments Editor of the Houston Journal of International Law. Before law school, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas at El Paso and then went on to teach English in the Houston and Spring Branch Independent School Districts.
