In an interview with Law360, Danielle Kays shares her insight on a recent Genetic Information Privacy Act (GIPA) ruling in Illinois and shares how, if at all, it will change the GIPA landscape for employers. She told Law360 that the “decision undoubtedly emboldens the plaintiffs' bar, and we can expect to continue to see a rise in GIPA claims. However, numerous defenses remain and will be vetted in the courts as these cases continue."
