The latest California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regulations covering risk assessments, automated decision-making technology (ADMT), and cybersecurity audits level up compliance obligations on businesses and ignoring them is not an option. The new regulations took effect January 1, 2026, and the deadline for compliance with the ADMT rules hits January 1, 2027, with phased in deadlines over the next few years for risk assessments and cybersecurity audits. While some of these deadlines may seem distant, compliance started on January 1 and meeting the requirements will be no small feat.
Join Anne Khan and Darcey Groden as they cut through the complexity and provide a practical breakdown of the new mandates, along with actionable tips on how to build your roadmap.
