Anyone who manages employees has dealt with employee leaves of absence stemming from a disability or injury. While these issues can be straightforward, what happens when the employee is eligible for more than one type of leave? The answer can be a veritable compliance nightmare. And, even with the best of intentions, employers often run afoul with one law while attempting to comply with another.
