Opinion: Labor Secretary Pick Likely to be Popular With Georgia Employers
In an Op-Ed published by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Ed Foulke reviews the credentials of the new U.S. Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia. In the piece, Ed suggests that Scalia will aggressively battle against intrusive and overreaching regulations that hamstring the country’s employers, and will quickly endear himself o the business community in Georgia and across the U.S. It is likely, he says, that Scalia will influence legislation and regulation around workplace safety, pay equity, immigration and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
