New Jersey Partner Pens Reminder on Reviewing and Updating Arbitration Agreements

Recent cases in New Jersey have emphasized the need for employers to revisit their policies when drafting and enforcing arbitration agreements, said Christopher Capone in his article published by The New Jersey Law Journal. In the article, he reviews several cases that serve as a reminder to employers who use arbitration agreements that state courts have shown a tendency of imposing increased requirements on employers seeking to enforce those agreements. Therefore, Chris suggests, this creates uncertainty around what an employer must do to draft sound agreements and recommends careful monitoring of New Jersey’s continually evolving case law.
