Overview

Marisol is an attorney in Tampa – where she was born and raised. She advises businesses on a range of matters including claims of employment discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. She also helps clients navigate employee terminations and mitigate their exposure to future employment-related claims, such as those arising from Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Marisol represented clients throughout the United States in high-stakes complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property, breach of contract, and fraud matters. She approaches employment litigation with the same attention to detail, providing employers with diligent counsel from preventative advice all the way to a final verdict.

Marisol is a passionate advocate for her community and sits on several boards, including the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers and the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

Marisol is a proud “double Gator.” She graduated from the University of Florida in 2013 with bachelor’s degrees in Criminology and Anthropology and earned her JD from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2017.
