Overview

Anthony provides advice and counsel on a variety of employment law needs, including employee relations, discipline/discharge matters, employee leave laws, handbook preparation, personnel policies, employment contracts and applications, day-to-day strategic advice, and risk management. During the pandemic, Anthony has regularly provided guidance to clients related to workplace safety and compliance with laws pertaining to COVID-19.

Additionally, Anthony counsels clients concerning trade secret protection and compliance with privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act. When providing advice to clients and crafting legal strategies on these subjects, Anthony draws on his prior professional experience as a software engineer.

As a litigator, Anthony represents large and small employers in all types of employment-related actions. These actions include disputes involving trade secret theft, breach of contract, violations of wage and hour laws, whistleblower, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, defamation, and other related matters. Anthony represents employers in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and before the DLSE, EDD, and other administrative bodies.

Anthony frequently presents and authors articles on topics related to prevention of workplace harassment, employee leave laws, trade secrets, workplace safety related to COVID-19, and data privacy.

Anthony has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2017 - 2020 – an honor awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in California.
