ATLANTA, GA (June 20, 2011)  – Two Fisher Phillips attorneys have been named to "The Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys" by Human Resource Executive magazine.

For the third consecutive year, Roger Quillen, the firm's chairman and managing partner, has been included, and for the second consecutive year, Charles Caulkins, managing partner of the Fort Lauderdale office and a member of the firm's management committee, has been named to the list.

Human Resource Executive magazine compiled the list of influential employment attorneys on the basis of curriculum-vitae analyses, evaluations by clients and peers and reporting by the staff of Lawdragon, a Los Angeles-based news and networking site for lawyers and clients.

Quillen joined the firm in 1980 and has served on the firm's Management Committee since 1997 and has been the firm's chairman and managing partner since 1999. The firm, based in Atlanta, has grown steadily during the past decade to its current 260 attorneys and 25 offices across the United States.

Quillen's practice involves litigation covering a wide range of employment discrimination issues, employee welfare benefit plans, the Railway Labor Act and issues arising before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. His special emphasis is in federal appellate litigation.

Quillen has argued cases in most of the federal courts of appeals, with subject matter varying from review of NLRB decisions to class action arising from changes in retiree health insurance plans. He has received repeat recognition as a "Georgia Super Lawyer" and a Georgia "Legal Elite" and was listed in The Best Lawyers in America. He also co-authored Labor and Employment Law in Georgia (LEXIS Publishing) for more than 10 years.

Caulkins has served on the firm's management committee since 2007 and has been the managing partner of the Fort Lauderdale office for more than 25 years. Since 1977, he has represented employers nationally in labor and employment law matters. This includes advising employers on the development and implementation of preventive labor relations programs to avoid charges and lawsuits, protect trade secrets, and resolve disputes. He regularly counsels employers during union representation elections, decertifications, corporate campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, strikes, and lockouts. He also handles employment related litigation and arbitrations before state and federal courts and administrative agencies involving claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, OSHA and other statutory claims.

Caulkins is a member of the board of directors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, a founding member and past President of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys and was the 2006 Chairman of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. He is "AV" Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was recognized as a South Florida Top Lawyer by South Florida Legal Guide.
