Ed Foulke was quoted in the article “Former OSHA Head Predicts Shift From Enforcement to Compliance Assistance” featured in The National Law Journal. Ed, who held the top OSHA job under the George W. Bush administration from 2006 to 2008, predicts a greater focus on compliance and outreach over enforcement. He says there will likely be a shift in philosophy under the Trump administration away from Obama-era enforcement priorities. 

“I want to get my clients to a point you don’t care if OSHA comes in. If you are just complying with the OSHA standards, you at best only have a fair safety program,” Ed says.
