SAN DIEGO, CA (August 1, 2013)  – Fisher Phillips is pleased to announce that Regina Petty, a partner in the San Diego and Los Angeles offices, has been selected for inclusion in San Diego Daily Transcript’s Top Attorneys 2013 in the labor and employment law category.

Regina’s practice areas focuses on labor and employment law counseling and litigation, and business litigation.

San Diego Daily Transcript’s Top Attorneys rates exceptional lawyers from 15 pre-selected practice areas. More than 800 nominations were received for individuals in the primary areas of practice in San Diego County. The final published list recognizes the top 10 attorneys in each of the 15 categories, selected based on the number of peer votes they received.

Regina practices in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels and is experienced in multi-district and class action litigation. She advises employers and public agency boards and handles litigation for private and public employers, and has obtained defenses verdicts in jury trials in Imperial County, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.

She successfully argued Jones v. Regina is a past president of the San Diego County Bar Association and a former member of the board of directors of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.

She has been named one of the Los Angeles Daily Journal's Top 75 Women Litigators in California and one of the San Diego Daily Transcript's Top Ten attorneys in both the labor and employment and business litigation categories previously.
