ATLANTA & PHOENIX (January 21, 2010) - Having just opened our new office in Phoenix on January 11, Fisher Phillips , is already expanding in Arizona. The firm announced that Shayna H. Balch has joined the Phoenix office as an associate.
Balch represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, sexual harassment, and restrictive covenants. She clerked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), both in Phoenix and in San Diego. She also investigated and dealt with a variety of employment law issues while interning with a nationally known retail store.
Balch received her law degree, cum laude, from Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 2006. At Arizona State, Balch was recognized as a Pedrick Scholar and received an American Jurisprudence award for her academic distinction in Immigration Law. She also authored papers on the electronic monitoring of employee e-mail, and on immigration law. Balch received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a pre-law minor, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University. She also graduated from the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University.
