Fisher Phillips Attorneys Honored at Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting

Fort Lauderdale (February 10, 2020) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that Fort Lauderdale Regional Managing Partner Suzanne Bogdan and partner Charles Caulkins were recently honored at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce 110th Annual Meeting.
Suzanne, the outgoing Chair of the Chamber, was honored for her year-long leadership of the Chamber and passed the gavel over to 2020 Chair Bill Feinberg of Allied Kitchen & Bath. During her tenure, Suzanne worked closely with fellow Chamber leaders and local business leaders to help determine priorities and implement strategies for connecting, enriching and expanding Fort Lauderdale’s business community.
Charles, a former Chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and current Chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, was presented with the Terry Stiles South Florida Leadership Award. The Terry Stiles South Florida Leadership Award recognizes outstanding regional vision, dedication to economic growth and commitment to South Florida’s business communities. Charles was selected for his leadership roles at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber, the Florida Chamber and his service to the Broward Workshop, a nonprofit business organization comprised of chief decision makers representing 100 of Broward County’s major businesses and professions.
At Fisher Phillips, Suzanne advises and represents clients in all aspects of employment law and risk management, including discrimination, disabilities, leave, wage and hour, preventive maintenance and numerous other issues. She is also the nationwide Chair of the Firm’s Education Practice Group, working with hundreds of private educational institutions, accrediting agencies, and school associations. Suzanne has been recognized locally and nationally for her work. She is routinely selected for inclusion in Florida Super Lawyers as a leading employment lawyer and, in addition to being frequently listed in The Best Lawyers in America, she was named 2020 “Lawyer of the Year” for Employment Law – Management by the organization. Suzanne was also selected as a 2017 Influential Business Woman by the South Florida Business Journal and was an honoree in the publication’s 2020 Power Leaders feature.

He advises employers on the development and implementation of preventive labor relations programs, including management education and training, to avoid charges and lawsuits, protect trade secrets and resolve disputes.
