Fisher Phillips Attorney Selected for Prestigious 40 Under 40 Award


ATLANTA, GA (November 11, 2011) – Terri Stewart, an associate in the Atlanta office of Fisher Phillips, has received a coveted "40 Under 40" Award from the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Stewart has been practicing law for several years, representing management in all areas of labor and employment law in state and federal courts as well as before state and federal agencies.

The award Stewart received recognizes rising stars in Atlanta business – the top 40 business people under the age of 40. All recipients hold a position of leadership, have made significant career achievements in the past year and have contributed substantially to community service outside of day-to-day job performance. A Nov. 10th event at the Fox Theatre honored Stewart and the other 2011 award recipients.

Stewart focuses her law practice on the defense of employment-related lawsuits in trial and appellate courts, encompassing a variety of issues. She also frequently advises employers on personnel issues and workplace policies in order to help employers navigate the complicated legal landscape of employment laws. In addition, Terri conducts on-site training on topics such as employment law compliance and avoidance of harassment claims. Stewart was listed in the 2011 edition of Georgia Super Lawyers- Rising Stars and has been chosen to be a member of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2012, an initiative of Leadership Atlanta
