Employers’ Obligation to Post OSHA Work-Related Injury and Illness Data

Employers covered by the Occupational Safe and Health Administration’s (OSHA’s) recording-keeping rule must post their 2019 summary of work-related injuries and illnesses at the worksite between February 1st and April 30th. An significant part of this process involves OSHA Form 300A, and in an interview with SHRM, Partner Edwin Foulke, Jr. notes the importance of having the right person certify and sign this form. He explains that the person who “signs Form 300A must know how numbers in the summary were obtained.”
