California Superior Court Judge Mary Wiss’s decision to deny Google, Inc.’s attempt to trim the suit will possibly provide insight in the future for plaintiffs in other class lawsuits. In this article, Megan emphasized the future effects of this decision, saying that "the judge cited to several allegations that the plaintiffs had made about the use of prior salary in setting current compensation. That really provided a roadmap for many other employees to state these types of claims, as that’s a fairly common business practice.”
