With a new president, a new Form I-9 and possible work visa changes, 2017 will be an interesting year for immigration. In this seminar, attorney Rob Neale will discuss the potential for post-election immigration reform, planning ahead for the 2017 H-1B “cap”, green card processing, as well as:

  • A recap of recent Obama administration regulatory changes and current immigration landscape.
  • Overview of what changes are likely to immigration sponsorship and enforcement under the new Trump administration.
  • Discussion of specific actions employers can take now in preparation of likely changes, including I-9 and prevailing wage issues.
