#MeToo and More!  What’s The California Legislature Up To Now?

Event

California Restaurant Association
621 Capitol Mall, Suite 2000
Sacramento, CA 95814

6.05.18
9:00 A.M. - 11:45 A.M.

The legislative session is in full swing and sexual harassment is one of the more prominent issues. There are over two dozen pending bills in the Legislature dealing with sexual harassment – most imposing more responsibilities and liability on California employers. From personal liability for retaliation and increased training requirements to prohibitions on arbitration and confidential settlement agreements, sexual harassment is dominating the debate in Sacramento.

But that’s not all- a whole host of non-sexual harassment bills are pending as well, including an expansion of paid sick days and an obligation to reasonably accommodate medical marijuana. Get ahead of the game and find out what potential changes are coming so you can plan ahead. Presented by our own capitol insider, Benjamin Ebbink, who will give you a preview, along with “behind-the-scenes” insight.
