This complimentary event is a great opportunity to network and talk with other HR professionals and our lawyers in an informal and collaborative setting to get the information you need to stay in the know.

Whether it be technological advancements and/or flexible work arrangements, employers’ potential exposure has drastically increased in regards  to off-the-clock work performed by non-exempt employees as well as potential safety issues.   Moreover, with such technical advancements, permitting employer’s data to be stored and transmitted using devices and networks outside the employer’s control creates a security risk to the information that may expose companies to liability.  This presentation will cover California best practices regarding cell phones, laptops, and remote or flexible work arrangements.
