Will Deveney is a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Atlanta office who has more than three decades of experience defending private and public sector employers in high-stakes labor and employment-related disputes litigation, including class actions. He provides strategic counsel on matters such as wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, and retaliation claims, often navigating complex regulatory landscapes to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients. With a deep understanding of the ever-evolving employment law landscape, Will helps employers develop proactive strategies to minimize risk and maximize compliance.
Will regularly advises corporate legal and human resources departments on best practices, internal investigations, and effective employment policies, and provides training to help employers navigate the full range of federal and state workplace laws. He also has extensive experience in complex litigation, business torts, unfair competition, and large exposure cases.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Will was a partner at Elarbee Thompson in Atlanta, where he represented clients in a range of industries, successfully defending employers in cases involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour issues, whistleblower claims, contract disputes, and employee benefits. He also authored amicus curiae briefs in landmark employment law cases on behalf of both private and public employers.
