Vana Ebrahimi

Vana Ebrahimi is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Her practice includes advising and defending employers in all areas of labor and employment law. She regularly defends clients against nationwide class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and related state wage and hour laws and representative actions brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). Vana has been co-counsel on numerous complex wage and hour class action lawsuits regarding alleged overtime violations, meal and break violations, and minimum wage claims.

Vana represents clients in a variety of industries, including hospitality, retail, automotive, healthcare, and entertainment. Her counseling practice includes advising businesses on difficult issues related to state and federal leave laws, harassment and discrimination issues, terminations, and wage and hour laws. Vana has handled a full range of labor and employment matters, including claims before the Department of Labor, EDD, EEOC, and California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). She also guides clients in developing preventive policies and procedures to avoid costly employment claims and litigation. Vana has presented on variety of labor and employment topics, including legal updates, wage and hour updates, best practices, and many other employment law areas.
