The-An Hoang-Nguyen advises businesses on a variety of employment-related matters, including wage and hour, employee benefits, Cal/OSHA compliance, COVID-19 and general employment issues. She also defends employers in litigation involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, and employee misclassification.
With extensive experience working with a diverse set of clients, The-An emphasizes collaboration and adaptability to get to the root of issues and achieve exceptional results. She joined Fisher Phillips after focusing on employment, real estate and construction, and general business dispute matters at a firm in Newport Beach, California.
While in law school, she was Staff Editor and Lead Article Editor of the UC Irvine Law Review and Treasurer of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. Passionate about lending a helping hand, she also participated in the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project and the Legal Name/Gender Change Clinic.
