Overview

Stan Wilson, a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Atlanta office, is a nationally recognized labor and employment attorney with more than four decades of experience representing employers in their most complex and high stakes matters. He has successfully defended companies in consequential cases that have shaped important precedent in labor and employment law, earning him a reputation as a trusted advocate and advisor to businesses across the country.

Stan regularly represents employers in class and collective actions, wage and hour disputes, and cases involving claims of race, gender, and age discrimination. He also has deep experience in traditional labor law, counseling unionized employers on collective bargaining, plant relocations, reductions in force, and strikes. Beyond the courtroom, clients turn to Stan for his proactive advice on employment contracts, restrictive covenants, and strategies to prevent workplace disputes.

In addition, Stan has significant experience in complex litigation, including professional liability, directors and officers’ liability, and high-value commercial disputes. His client base spans a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, restaurants, retail, chemicals, and mining.

Stan’s leadership in the profession has been recognized by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and Georgia Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite, among many others. He is a Fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Stan was Managing Partner of Elarbee Thompson, an Atlanta-based L&E and commercial litigation firm with a long history of success in labor and employment law and commercial litigation.
