Shaun J. Voigt

Shaun Voigt is a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Los Angeles office who defends employers in wage-and-hour class actions, collective actions, and representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). He has litigated more than 100 class and PAGA actions involving employee classification, meal and rest periods, overtime, off-the-clock work, expense reimbursement, wage statements, and final pay. He has particular experience representing transportation, logistics, and staffing companies in disputes involving the interplay of federal transportation regulations and state employment laws, industry-specific exemptions, and joint-employer issues.

Shaun’s experience includes assessing classwide exposure, enforcing arbitration agreements, litigating claims involving companywide policies and practices, and negotiating class and PAGA settlements. He works closely with employers to understand their operations and compensation practices, using timekeeping and payroll analysis to inform litigation and settlement strategy. He also handles joint-employer disputes and claims seeking to impose liability on related entities and corporate officers.
