
Overview
Serineh Terzyan is an associate in the Woodland Hills office of Fisher Phillips, where she defends and advises businesses on a wide range of state and federal labor and employment matters. Her practice includes representing employers in cases involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, workplace investigations, wage and hour disputes (including class and PAGA cases), leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, employee benefits, and unemployment claims.
Serineh represents clients across various industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and restaurants, and advises on investigations conducted by the EEOC, California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), and California Civil Rights Department (CRD).
In addition to her litigation and counseling work, she advocates for clients in legislative matters statewide, including direct lobbying efforts, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Restaurant Association.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Serineh practiced at a general litigation firm in Calabasas, where she focused primarily on employment-related matters, often handling high-stakes and high-profile cases. Notably, in 2020, she contributed to securing one of the top 20 labor and employment settlements in California.
Serineh has also served as a law lecturer at the School of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge, where she shared her practical insights with future professionals.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, graduating at the top of her class. She was recognized with a Public Service Distinction and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her outstanding performance in legal research and writing.
