Overview

Sean Libby, a partner in Fisher Phillips’ Atlanta office, is a trusted legal advisor and seasoned litigator who partners with employers to protect their interests, minimize risk, and advance their business goals. He counsels companies nationwide on the full range of labor and employment law issues – helping them navigate complex workplace challenges before they escalate and vigorously defending them when litigation arises.

Sean’s practice spans preventive counseling, policy development, and high-stakes disputes. He regularly drafts and enforces non-compete, non-solicit, and other employment-related agreements; designs and delivers interactive training to prevent compliance issues; and advises on investigations, terminations, wage and hour compliance, and reductions in force. His clients include businesses in hospitality, communications, retail, sports, and other service industries.

In courtrooms and before federal agencies across the country, Sean has secured favorable results in cases involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and other workplace claims. He is well-versed in defending employers against actions brought under federal laws such as the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FLSA, and FMLA, as well as in complex class and collective actions.

As a member of the firm’s Hospitality Industry Team, Sean brings sector-specific insight to the wage and hour and harassment/discrimination issues that can arise in fast-paced environments. His blend of litigation skill, practical business acumen, and clear, engaging communication style makes him a go-to resource for employers who value proactive, results-driven counsel.
