Special Counsel
Overview
Megan Mersch draws on more than 15 years of hands-on experience defending and advising employers in high-stakes labor and employment matters, with a distinctive background as both an employment litigator and senior HR advisor. Megan handles a broad spectrum of matters, including claims involving employment discrimination and harassment, wrongful termination, workplace retaliation, wage and hour litigation, and systemic allegations of workplace misconduct. She guides clients through all phases of employment disputes, from pre-suit investigations and administrative agency responses to trial, arbitration, and mediation.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Megan served as a senior HR attorney and business partner at a leading professional services firm, where she advised firm leadership on employment law compliance, internal investigations, and organizational risk management. Her earlier roles in regional and national law firms, as well as her experience as a felony prosecutor, further inform her proactive, solution-oriented approach to helping employers prevent claims and achieve their business goals.
