Overview
Martha G. Vázquez is an experienced labor and employment law litigator who represents employers regarding a wide range of labor and employment issues, including claims of discrimination, hostile work environment, harassment, and retaliation under the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other federal and state laws. Martha has substantial courtroom experience defending employers in state and federal litigation and handles all phases of litigation, including electronic discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Martha regularly represents employers in arbitration proceedings, including labor arbitrations and matters before the American Arbitration Association (AAA), JAMS, and private arbitrators. She also manages administrative proceedings and compliance matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), drafting position statements and negotiating favorable resolutions for her clients.
