Mariana Hernández

She has built a sustained academic focus on that reform and on the constitutional dimension of employment disputes, completing extended programs on the functioning of the new labor courts, collective labor law, electronic litigation before the judiciary of the State of Mexico, and amparo proceedings through the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

Before joining Fisher Phillips, Mariana practiced at a Mexican labor and employment law firm, where she represented and advised clients across a range of employment matters and appeared in labor proceedings.

Mariana also teaches law. She has served as a faculty member at Instituto Universitario Franco Inglés since 2022 and previously at Universidad Tec Mexiquense, where her responsibilities included the design and updating of curricula and study programs.

Her continuing legal education includes the Supreme Court’s certificate program in Amparo Proceedings (2021); the Seminar on the Functioning of Labor Courts of the Judicial School of the State of Mexico (2021); the First National Congress on Judicial Federalism of the judiciary of the State of Mexico (2021); the Seminar on Aspects of Collective Labor Law (2019); and the Seminar on Labor Justice Contextualization (2020).
