Leo Setian
Associate
Overview
Leo Setian defends employers and businesses in complex labor and employment litigation across California, focusing on wage and hour class actions, single-plaintiff claims, and representative actions under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). Drawing on years of hands-on experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants, Leo delivers practical, business-driven strategies for matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and claims under FEHA and Title VII.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Leo was an associate at a national labor and employment defense firm, where he managed employment matters for a diverse client base. He previously gained valuable insight by representing employees at a boutique plaintiff-side firm. This dual perspective allows him to anticipate opposing strategies and craft effective, efficient solutions that protect employers’ interests at every turn.
