Overview
Lauren Polk advises employers on a wide range of workplace issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters. Lauren also drafts and reviews employee handbooks and contracts to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Lauren was an associate at a global multi-practice law firm in Newport Beach where she focused on labor and employment matters related to wage and hour disputes, worker classification, and employment discrimination and harassment.
While in law school, Lauren was a judicial extern to the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She was also a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and served as the lead articles editor for the Southwestern Law Review.
