
Overview
Kylene Slocum defends employers in various labor and employment matters, including discrimination and harassment claims and wage and hour class actions in federal and state courts. Kylene also advises employers on workplace policy, training presentations, and workplace investigations.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Kylene was an associate at a national, full-service law firm where she focused on labor and employment litigation and employment advice and counseling. Kylene also formerly served as a judicial clerk in Michigan and was primarily responsible for reviewing the grand jury transcript in connection with what is commonly known as the Flint Water Crisis.
During law school, Kylene was a member of the Michigan State University Law Review and Trial Practice Institute. Kylene is also a former collegiate athlete.
