Overview
Kris Leonhardt focuses her practice on defending public and private employers against a wide range of employment law claims, including claims for discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on disability, race, age, religion, and sex. Kris frequently represents employers against claims for alleged violations of state and federal wage laws, such as overtime and minimum wage statutes. Kris has successfully defended employers in state and federal trial and appellate courts in Arizona and elsewhere, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Kris’ practice also includes providing advice to clients regarding employment agreements, restrictive covenants, commission policies, handbooks and other employment policies, employee leave requests, and general compliance with state and federal employment laws.
