The founder of Higuchi & Partners, LPC, an independent law firm in central Tokyo, he advises U.S. and multinational companies operating in Japan, as well as Japanese businesses expanding into the Americas, on a wide range of employment and compliance issues across borders.

A licensed attorney in both Japan and New York, Kazuma’s international practice grounded in strong academic and practical foundations. Since passing the Japanese bar in 2000 and joining the New York State Bar in 2008, he has built a career spanning employment law, corporate and M&A, commercial transactions, dispute resolution, and inheritance matters.
